Months after US President Donald Trump decided to call an end to the Iran nuclear agreement, the Middle Eastern country directed a threat at the United States, calling for less pressure from America, unless they want to risk a war. As expected, Donald Trump instantly took to Twitter to respond to the threat, outdoing it with even harsher words.
Recently the President’s cabinet has been trying to convince Iran to end its nuclear program; the very reason why the nuclear deal that Trump abandoned existed in the first place. Iran has so far seemed unfazed by the collapse of the deal and is not worried about its oil exports. Trump’s advisors have hinted that they are ready to support Iranian rebels who are against the government, which previously happened in Syria, a country that has been caught in a horrifying civil war for years. However, unlike Syria, Iran has nuclear weapons, so a war there could be even more devastating.
