The head of the White House announced that he did not have high hopes for the upcoming June 12 meeting in Singapore with Kim Jong-un. He also said that he did not want to spend too much time with his opponent, amid the uncertainty of talks between South and North Korea. The President of South Korea Moon Jae-in expressed his view before the Oval office that the summit will most likely not achieve much.
Donald Trump also expressed his dissatisfaction with the trade negotiations with China, as they revise penalties in favor of President Xi Jinping. Now, however, Trump can make a claim for a change of directors and fine the board of ZTE Corp. by 1.3 billion dollars.
China for its part agreed to reduce duties on cars from 25% to 15%.
