Weekend Expectations

This week we expect the publication of the Bank of England's decision on interest rates. It is predicted that the rate may be raised to the level of 0.75%, which will be the highest level since 2009. Also, many monthly reports will be published this week, which would likely make markets volatile.

Steven Mnuchin voiced an optimistic forecast that the US economy is on the path of confident growth and will grow by 3% annually for 4-5 years.

This week the Bank of Japan can also announce a change in its monetary policy.

Soon there will be a meeting of the central bankers of the United States, Britain, Japan, India, and Brazil to discuss credit policy.

At the same time, the tariff exchange between the US and China continues, but the Trump administration is already negotiating with Canada and Mexico to renegotiate the NAFTA treaty, and after talks between Donald Trump and Jean-Claude Juncker, fears of a trade war between the US and the EU have declined.

During the weekend volatility on the crypto-exchange markets was lowered and quotations remained virtually unchanged. Despite possible risks, the price of Bitcoin has managed to stay above $8,000.
